Monoethylene Glycol (MEG)
Description
MEG is a colorless, virtually odorless and slightly viscous liquid and has the chemical formula of C2H6O2. It is miscible with water, alcohols, aldehydes and many organic compounds. MEG is the most commonly used as a chemical intermediate. It is also widely used as automotive antifreeze.
